Why “PirataSV.net”?

PirataSV was my nickname more than 8 years ago when I used to spend a good portion of my nights breaking into computer systems. It is also then when I used Windows as my main Operating System, so I had the “need” to “freely” obtain software packages for my computer. After a while, PirataSV also became the name of a small group of Liceo Salvadoreño students that shared certain passion for computer systems.

Despite what many people that know my full name think, “SV” stands for the ISO code of El Salvador, not my last name initials.
